Strategic Planning Committee

The Strategic Planning Committee is responsible for long term evaluation and planning required for the University to fulfill its mission.  The Committee’s planning process is an organizational management activity that is used to set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthen operations, ensuring that TSUNAA and Regional and Local Chapters are working toward common goals, establish agreement around intended outcomes/results, and assess and adjust the organization's direction in response to the changing academic environment. Focus areas are; alignment, collaboration, and operational efficiencies at each level in support of TSU’s Strategic plan

 

The Committee will proactively support and develop long term objectives and corresponding strategies in areas including:

  • Alignment with the University’s
    • student and retention goals in the 20-year plan Academic Master Plan
    • long term facility needs in its 20-year Facilities Master Plan
    • its 5-year Strategic Plan
  • Assist in achieving its advancement and growth objectives focused on
    • Revenue: financial diversification and sustainability
    • Recruitment: enrollment growth/retention, and alumni life members
    • Relations: advancing the university’s positive brand, and solidifying community support.
