Scholarship Committee

 

This committee shall consist of persons whose responsibilities will be to set the guidelines for awarding scholarships to deserving applicants (students) and be actively involved in the recruitment plans of students to attend the University.

The TSU National Alumni Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the selection of three students as the recipients of the 2009 scholarship funds. Each recipient was awarded $1000.

There will be six - $1,500 scholarships shall be awarded for the Fall Semester of 2010. The deadline for applying for this scholarship is April 1, 2010. The recipients for the Tennessee State University National Alumni Association Scholarship must:

Ø Active member of Pre Alumni Council

Ø Completed at least 16 credit hours

Ø Submit a list of at least five of the activities that you participated in as a member of Pre Alumni Council

Ø Earned at least a 3.0 GPA Ø Submit two letters of recommendations from an academic advisor, counselor or professor

Ø Enrolled as a full time student, as defined by Tennessee State University
